The Human Services Department at Quinsigamond Community College instills a solid foundation of ‘generalist’ entry level knowledge, skill and competency for employment and for transfer to four year educational programs in the human services field and is based upon the National Community Support Skill Standards and the Council for Standards in Human Service Education. The program prepares students to be civil minded, culturally competent, strength-based Human Service Practitioners and seekers of higher education (four-year college) or progressive professional development.
